At the top of the pile IMS Research reveals that the global transition to IP video surveillance is on the up with a predictions os a 3% increase in as it the global video surveillance market. In a bid to offer their partners an opportunity to showcase their products Vivotek is to host its first IP video Solutions Awards.
To end our news offering we have two very charitable news updates: Xtralis has recently announced that it will be donating its ADPRO remote video surveillance and perimeter protections solution to the Gosport and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service (GAFIRS) to support the service in its mission to provide free marine rescue. Lastly, for the first time at ISC West security professional will be taking part in a 5K charity run to help sponsor 500 children in need.

Madrid Metro recently celebrated the 90th anniversary of its deployment of VESDA by Xtralis. Coming later this month is Intersec Dubai 2010 at which Tyco International and QNAP will be unveiling their latest security solutions. Optex Europe will also be exhibiting its award-winning laser scan detector technology. In preparation for another upcoming event, Integrated Systems Events announced the positioning of a digital signage showcase at ISE 2010.
